At the beginning of the film class, I had only seen a few films. After this class, I have seen many of these films and have enjoyed the art and industry of making films. Now I have seen about 60/100 films and I plan on watching more over the summer so that I can finish watching all the films. Seeing the things that I don't ever focus on while watching films in this film class, has helped me improve on my skills and has allowed me to grow in my knowledge of the art of it.
From the beginning of the course til now, I have watched about 12 films from the list. At first, that number was very low an still is. I don't really watch movies that much if I do it's off of Netflix or TV. I'm more of a TV series person. I can say that watching those films have helped increase my knowledge in the film industry since we studied the films while viewing them. Most of the movies we watched in class, I wouldn't have watched it on my own before because I thought they would be boring but some of them turned out pretty interesting.

After this class, I have still seen 71 since "Shadow of a Doubt" was not included on the greatest films list, and everything else that we did in class that was on the list I'd already seen. Nevertheless, great class! Got really in-depth and taught me about a bunch of stuff I wanted to know tons more about. I'm thankful for having taken this one, and I'd rather take a double helping of this next year instead of whatever crap Gamzon's gonna do.
At the beginning of the year, I had seen 40/100 of the greatest films of all time. Now, I have seen 47. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, My Fair Lady, Easy Rider, Duck Soup, Titanic (I actually sat down and watched the whole thing), Intolerance, and Amadeus have been added to that list.
Before taking this course, I didn't know diddly about the history of the technical aspect of films. Didn't know what a kinetiscope or a zoetrope was or exactly how technicolor came into being, so learning all that was pretty nice. My study of US History and the Red Scare also coincided with learning about HUAC and other restrictions of film, so that was pretty good as well.
At the beginning of the year, I only saw about 3 of the films but now looking back at the list, I've seen 15 out of the 100. Still not much but definitely an improvement.

Justice
In the beginning of the year I only watched about 16 of those films, and after this year the number hasn't changed. That being said Rope is better than Citizen Kane.
I believe now I've seen about 30 of the films so far. Since I do want to go into filmmaking(grades aside) I feel I have a better grasp of film and where many modern filmmakers draw inspiration and guidance. I didn't know a lot about the early history of film but now i feel more informed and as a photographer, I see what innovations and terms evolved into the ones we have today.
At the start of the year I had seen only 21/100 films from the list. Now I've seen 30 which still seems pretty low. Of the movies I have now seen that includes Psycho, King Kong and Modern Times all which I really enjoyed. Lots of movies on the top 100 list are movies that I now plan to watch because they're films I'm familiar with yet have never actually seen.
Raina always makes fun of me for not knowing movies, and now I know about 30 of them. Okay, maybe like 25, but same difference. At the beginning of the year, I had only recognized about 2 movie titles not even watched them. Now, look at ya girl, growing. Most of them are boring but that's none of my business. Beside forest Gump, that's my dude.
